Rune Wehner (Spleen United)

Rune is an Aarhus Native, back in his hometown to deliver an eclectic mix of music, euphoric sounds and vibey textures transcending genres in order to lift up the audience this evening.

He is a part of the band Spleen United who has released 4 albums as well as a vast amount of EP’s and singles and has been touring Scandinavia, Benelux, Germany and USA intensively. With a heavy focus on sampling and analog synthesizers interweaving with the melodic parts, the band has always had its roots in electronic music, but drawing musical inspiration from many different genres.

With a deep love of both psychedelic rock from the late 60s, original dub of the 70s, hip hop and techno of the 90s and early 2000s as well as glo-fi/chillwave, things can move in many directions… Further expanding the canvas Rune is making a few deep dives into the catalog of Spleen United to integrate some hidden nuggets.
